A few years ago I was in Concepción, Chile for a few days. While
there, I had some of the best fish I have ever eaten. It was, obviously, fresh…and not “freshly
thawed” as they give us here in the US. As
you can see in these photos, I did not go hungry. One of my favorites was the
fresh “trucha” (trout) ceviche. I am not
normally a fan of raw fish (no sushi for me), but this was outstanding. The ceviche,
the fried fish fillets and potatoes along with fresh seasoned tomatoes for lunch was amazing!! I have found nothing that compares in the fish
category. BTW…my hosts were terrific.
